Kids Cooking Class: Pedal-Powered Smoothies

Venture to the garden to harvest some early spring produce. We'll prepare ingredients in the kitchen and hop on the blender bike to pedal our way toward delicious kid-powered smoothie creations!

Teen Cooking Class: Challah Bread

Friday, March 31, 2017, 5:30-7:30PM
Ages: 12-15 years
Cost: $30

Learn to make this delicious and festive bread. We'll prepare the dough together, and each participant will braid and bake a mini loaf.

Tween Cooking Class: A Taste of El Salvador

Friday, April 7, 5:30-7:00 pm
Ages: 9-11 years old
Cost:  GCM Members $30 | Nonmembers $30

Description: We'll visit El Salvador in this international cooking class and learn how to make traditional pupusas- a thick handmade corn tortilla stuffed with cheese or refried beans. Then, we'll harvest garden-fresh produce for cabbage slaw and accompaniments. Buen Provecho!
On the menu: vegetarian pupusas, curtido (slaw), refrescos (fresh fruit drinks)
