We're teaching the best bakers in town at this pie-making extravaganza! Ages 8-11 will perfect their pie recipes just in time for Thanksgiving. Using autumn fruits, bakers will leave with their own pie to bake at home.
Have you ever tasted a persimmon? They are orange, delicious, and they grow on the trees in The Edible Schoolyard, the Museum's half-acre garden. In this hands-on kids cooking class, ages 6-8 will harvest persimmons to make delicious hand pies that they'll enjoy with their new friends at the end of class.
