    Ages 1 – 59 years:    $10, plus nc sales tax
    Ages 60 years +:      $ 9, plus nc sales tax
    Under 1 year:            free
    Every Friday from 5p – 8p and Sunday 1p – 5p, we are $5 (plus nc sales tax) a person.

    We encourage you to view our calendar of events as you plan your visit. Please note: coupons and passes are not accepted during Rockin’ Noon Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and Homeschool Discovery Days (Dates vary). Also, discounts do not apply to our weekly GCM Playgroup.

    Please note: GCM will close at 4p for private events on Saturday, April 18 and Saturday, May 30.

  • Parking

    Convenient and free parking is available to GCM visitors and members in our adjacent Museum parking lot. If the lot is full, parking is also available along Church Street (parking meters) and across the street in the Church Street Parking Deck (free on weekends).  The first hour of parking is free and each additional hour is 75 cents. Handicap parking is available in the Museum parking lot.

  • Food and Drink

    The Museum offers healthy snacks and juice drinks in the vending area. Visitors can also bring their own snacks or lunch to the Museum and eat at the tables in the Snack Shack or outside on Nannie’s Outdoor Patio Classroom. The tables outside are available on a first come, first served basis.  Seating is limited and no birthday parties or group celebrations permitted in this area. Helpful Information

  • Due to recent news surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Greensboro Children’s Museum is closely monitoring announcements by officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and is enhancing our current cleaning procedures by increasing the frequency in which we clean and sanitize our exhibits, movable props and toys throughout the day. The safety and well-being of our guests is always our top priority.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult (no drop-offs) and all adults must be accompanied by a child. Adults who wish to take a tour of the Museum can do so with a Museum staff escort.
  • Interested in climbing on the popular XXL Neptune Climbers. Plan ahead by reviewing our safety rules.
  • GCM is a smoke-free campus! There is no smoking permitted in the parking lot, Museum or The Edible Schoolyard.
  • Visitor photography is permitted for personal, non-commercial use only. Photography must not disrupt other Museum visitors or staff, and must not limit accessibility to exhibits, entrances/exits, doorways, and high traffic areas. Click here to view our complete photography policy.
